An impossible feeling can overcome the senses
While staring into his little eyes wondering where time is
Vibrations of love overwhelm and cover
This magic a product of you and your lover

Indescribable perfection wrapped in a tiny frame
The love so great it can drive one insane
Little feet and even smaller hands
Such a small being can have such great demands

Querying eyes and seeking lips
Willing to suck on your finger tips
A solitary wonder merely a few days old
The price paid already, my heart is sold

Becoming a Grandfather
My daughter is pregnant and I shall be grandpa
I have longed to see the day, and am happy for both
She has married a good man, who will provide well
She is strong of heart and tougher of spirit
She will get through this, though now she is scared

I look forward to holding this new baby
A product of my own child
The baby shall be so dear to me
As dear as my own daughter and son
I am a proud grandfather and an even prouder father
I do have some worries, there are struggles ahead
But I will be here for them, and this I know
