Lucky Numbers is a poem about someone playing the lottery and hoping to win and get out of their miserable situation. It was inspired by the 11 random words provided (in blue) by the following twitter followers:
@minnie_madz (reminisce), @Jan_Geronimo (Ogre), @stevejclark (glory), @filigreegirl(mondegreen), @wchingya (delight), @anahbird (lucky), @Aluwir (bindle), @JoeManna (Enthusiastic), @Williamm49 (phoney), @AttilaBS (hollow), @rembeatz (lottery)Lucky Numbers
Phoney hollow life hanging in the balance
enthusiastic that glory would be yours
one lucky lottery ticket purchased
you don’t reminisce on past attempts
where numbers drawn were mondegreen
bindle of winning numbers, all you need
no more working for the ogre boss
delight would be eternally yours
this time the lucky numbers will draw-Poem by Dragon Blogger
