Royal Ball was a poem about a grand feast and ball and was inspired by so many french related words and terms played today, Voltaire, cotillion, duck all brought a Parisian theme into my head. This poem was inspired by the 15 random words (in blue) provided by the following twitter followers:
@GeB0i (threnody), @filigreegirl (Voltaire), @santasdevil (reunion), @manitisle (duck), @stevejclark (cotillion), @drdon911 (eviscerate), @A_Lan (trajectory), @Williamm49 (emphasize), @dereksemmler (Tantalizing), @fragileheart (confusion), @RalphCarlson (acid), @IdeaOffer (partnering), @anefallarme (sage), @poetisk (intergalactic), @Jemfyr (deadline)Royal Ball
Spirits soar on high trajectory
cotillion with the finest in life
mild confusion, dancing deadline reached
as evening dish is served in full
a tantalizing intergalactic flavor
intricate enough to impress Voltaire
a partnering of duck and sage spices
the slightest tang of a citrus acid
butter to emphasize the richness further
reunion of tongue and fork repeating
magical taste that would eviscerate
the most melodramatic threnody
enjoyed at the royal ball
