A Life Ended is a poem about someone depressed and contemplating, then finally on the verge of committing suicide. This is dark poem and ironic considering it was written on New Years Eve and many people played happy words, for some reason my mind just formulated a dark poem today.
This poem was inspired by the 17 random words submitted:
@santasdevil (carcass), @filigreegirl (epicurean), @yellow0211 (liberating), @RemBeatZ (shank), @Zorlone (Confabulate), @houseofpuroy (jubilation), @purple_froggy (chili), @LadyProgrammer (fireworks), @AnneOnline (inconsequentness), @GeB0i (rejuvenate), @jldempsey (un-birthday), @stevejclark (irony), @AttilaBS (dream), @mcaliban (explode), @monadlux (seal), @blusol (ferrous), @kowboyfromhell (alone)

A Life Ended

Irony of repeating another un-birthday
alone with a ferrous dream fast fading
jubilation lost on life’s inconsequentness
repeat failed attempts to rejuvenate your spirit
fireworks and epicurean chili festivals left you dry
you confabulate on how to seal the deal this night
the urgency and finality ready to explode in moments
one jagged shank across the wrists and throat
liberating your soul will not come painless
will your rotting carcass even be missed?
