A Moment Spent For Me Along

Distant dreams upon lightless stars
hope I find, is only met with despair
drinking this last moment in
savoring my one last moment
a moment spent
for me alone

I fly and I knew I would
wind caressing my tightened face
this moment trapped eternally
savoring my one last moment
a moment spent
for me alone

With a flash its all gone
body broken but spirit healed
this moment ended but a new one begins
a moment spent
for me alone
