A Mother’s Love – Poem by Dragon Blogger
A Mother’s Love
Nurtured in my womb
born of my heart
not a single person alive
can love you as I do
Protected in infancy
teaching you always
not a single person alive
can love you as I do
Growing up in life
friends can come and go
not a single person alive
can love you as I do
I will always be your mother
in my heart you are always welcome
for not a single person alive
can love you as I do
Dedicated to all Mother’s out there

Really heart touching poem specially for the ones who stay away from home like me and aren't able to meet their mother very soon. I miss her. I miss the way she cares for me.
Beautiful poem, I'm going to forward it to my girlfriend who is feeling very broody at the moment!

I would think that a poem would speak of the truth of the common man, it seems to me that most mothers today do not love their children very much, as illustrated by how little we actually talk to the prior generation. I guess my version of love is something more than ownership. go deeper, and be more real..
This is a really good poem. I love reading poetry and writing it. Lately I’ve been posting a lot of poems on http://www.unitedworldpoets.com. The site is running a free poetry contest this month that has a cash prize I’m hoping to win.
Thanks for sharing, if you want to guest host a poem on my blog, send me a poem to contactme@dragonblogger.com, I will post the poem and give you full credit with a link back.
Thank you for this tribute to mothers everywhere. My mother has always been here for me and now she is in a nursing home and I have to be there for her. What goes around, comes around and we must be prepared. My mom's love for me will be felt for all eternity. There is no one like a mother and her love!

It is a paying forward thing I guess... a mother used to be the daughter and so on and so forth so if you're a hard headed child, forgot your old ones, the same might happen to you in the future.
