I would think that a poem would speak of the truth of the common man, it seems to me that most mothers today do not love their children very much, as illustrated by how little we actually talk to the prior generation. I guess my version of love is something more than ownership. go deeper, and be more real..

This is a really good poem. I love reading poetry and writing it. Lately I’ve been posting a lot of poems on http://www.unitedworldpoets.com. The site is running a free poetry contest this month that has a cash prize I’m hoping to win.

Thank you for this tribute to mothers everywhere. My mother has always been here for me and now she is in a nursing home and I have to be there for her. What goes around, comes around and we must be prepared. My mom's love for me will be felt for all eternity. There is no one like a mother and her love!

It is a paying forward thing I guess... a mother used to be the daughter and so on and so forth so if you're a hard headed child, forgot your old ones, the same might happen to you in the future.
