Ancient Storms

Have you ever heard the thunder crack
White horses on a dark clouds back
Hot air is charged so naturally
Fear and awe, so wondrous to see

Ancient storms demand no toll
Yet a tug is felt within your soul
Sky so dark, an endless night
Flashes of power, providing brief light

Swollen heavy rain drops fall
Bursting open against a wall
Your focus held against your will
The storms power holds you still
