Beginning the Week

Another Monday
seconds resonate
time flowing slowly
like the Mekong river

Work week herself
a vindictive amour
her great demands
lacking grace

Ultimate businessmen
armed with portmanteau
and common smartphones
some Apple valediction

Preposterous scenario
replayed to infinity
gracious for employment
beginning another week
