Broken Sunlight: Random Twitter Poem for Aug 30th

Today’s poem Broken Sunlight was written late due to being delayed from writing the poem during my lunch break.  While writing this poem I envisioned pure sunshine being blocked and tattered by dark clouds which created fragmented sunbeams.  This poem was inspired by and included the 8 random words (in bold) provided by the following Twitter players:
@haptree (manifesto), @eileencan (knocks), @ptaylor98 (enlightened), @marybiever (serene), @travelbyrv (Transition), @fitolddog (Misoneism), @theavggenius (orange), @newyorkbigapple (perplexed)

Broken Sunlight

luminous orange resplendence
beams of serene calm
knocks of enlightened purpose
transition to perplexed misoneism
quaffable situation distasteful
discerning moods rain gray
this fragmented serendipity
manifesto of  broken sunlight

    Nice poem! I like it. There’s something in it that I can’t explain. But if you read between the lines, there is a message that it wants to convey. I can feel that this poem has something my life can relate into.

    Reading poems takes me back to my teenage years where our emotions are at its peak. I miss the good old days.
