Today’s poem was mostly inspired by the word fire and submerged is a gruesome poem about burning to death. It included the 9 random words (in blue) provided by the following twitter followers:
@filigreegirl (compost), @RemBeatZ (analogue), @concisionflux (frontispiece), @mikki_fit (fire), @coffeetablepoet (disillusion), @PowerJourneys (submerged), @lionlambluv (beckon), @hectica (blasphemous), @R_Arblaster (malfunctioning)
Burning Alive
Survival crumbles in disillusion
submerged in fire and black smoke
blasphemous flames beckon
burned, charred analogue
smelling of rotten compost
malfunctioning lungs cease
drawing breath any longer
life summarized in a final
smoldering frontispiece-Poem by Dragon Blogger

Wow. Made me cry, especially because of the fires so close to my home and the noble firefighters who died.
You have a great talent.

Thank you, wasn’t deliberately inspired by the CA Wildfires, just a coincidence, but I guess that may have been in the back of my mind. I wouldn’t have made it so dark if it were inspired by the firefighters, would have made a noble poem.
Not bad not bad!
