My Poetry blog isn’t really a blog I am looking to make money on, I am just sharing my creative writing with the world and have received lots of feedback.  I don’t heavily promote this blog as much on Entrecard as my other two sites so naturally I had lower expectations for the month of October.

These were my October Goals for Wanderer Thoughts

  • <5000 IzeaRank

I managed to get my IzeaRank under 2,000 and is in the 1300’s currently which is pretty good and much better than my goals.

  • 30 Unique Visits Per Day

I have attained an average of  81 visits per day and 1755 Unique Visitors for the Month.

  • 10 Backlinks

I actually managed to get 30 backlinks to me in the month of October, but this is mostly due to the fact that I participate in the WOOF contest and many people repost the winners and submitters, so I get 3-5 backlinks per week just from participating in this writing contest.

I don’t put my poetry blog on PayU2Blog, PayPerPost or any of the sites, I would take advertisers who want to sponsor literature, writing or some like theme, but this blog isn’t really a for profit blog.  I have two other blogs for that, this blog is more of a creative outlet.

Here are my blog goals for November

  • 50 Unique Visitors Per Day
  • 4000 Unique Visitors Total
  • <1500 Real Rank
  • 15 Back Links

Thank you for reading my writing and works.

You know there are many creative artists out there, and yes I think people who write poetry or any other writing are literary artists.  The poem is our oil painting on a canvas of digital medium.  I want to point out one poetry site in particular that inspired me to turn my poems into my own poetry blog.  This site is Dragonfly Poems, and they have a beautiful poem called “September” which I nominated for in the latest W.O.O.F. Contest.

Thank you for inspiring me to put my works into an online blog, I had written hundreds of writings, never showing them to anyone but my family of course, and I have decided to share them with the world.  (Not that I think that they are that good, but I just like sharing and getting peoples opinions).

I love reading other people’s poetry as well, and sometimes reading something else inspires me.  You never know what can strike inspiration, sometimes I write a poem about nothing, but most of my poetry has emotional inspiration.

This post is turned into a Social Spark Opportunity, I would be happy to check out and read some other poetry blogs out there if you would do the same for me, review one of my poems that you like, or dislike and write a post about it, I will review a like poem on your site and blog about it here.

Thank you my friends.

Here are my blog goals for Wanderer Thoughts this month, this blog is rapidly becoming my 2nd most popular blog behind Dragon Blogger, primarily because many people love poetry and literature, and I am able to create so many posts so quickly.

  • <5000 IzeaRank
  • 30 Unique Visits Per Day
  • 10 Backlinks

This blog isn’t primarily used to post paid content, but may occasionally as supplemental just to divide some paid content around to keep Dragon Blogger under 10% paid content.

Stay Tuned, I publish a minimum of one new poem every day, and will have additional short stories with the occasional post about blog stats and myself.
