End the Fight

A harrowing ordeal
dark emotions congeal
swimming in a pool of sharks
as lightning fury arcs

For better or for worse
this blessing now a curse
anger ringing like a bell
every day a burning hell

Final thoughts to end these days
counting all the different ways
simple silence in a sleepless night
painless end to this eternal fight
