Financial Woe

There is no faith in financial freedom
some false ingenious holiday like serenity
undecidely, misfortune always pounces
like cherubims feasting on a rotting pizza
scent of pain stings your olfactory senses
coveting money as a bee covets a lily flower
wallet stiffens as if woven with crinoline
how jealousy inches toward a quiet emergence
