Footprint Among Roses is a poem about a druid tending to a sacred garden that is meant to give safe harbor to wildlife. It is inspired by so many Fantasy novels and influences it isn’t funny. The words English Garden and folklore simply put the theme in my head and this poem came out as a result.

Footprint Among Roses

Juxtapose footprint among English roses
sympathetically induced trance, ancient folklore
divine mastery of druidic garden enchantments
fragrant scent strong enough to provoke epistaxis
with kraznocks riddled incantations and gestures
you ratify this sacred garden as a sanctuary
all of nature is welcome to find nurture here
a druids work is finally done
