Future Flash

Nineteen ninety nine
A year known as a troubling time
Deeds caught and drown in flame
Societies best are now insane

Flash forward ten years
All our hearts have bled their tears
Unholy nations wage hidden wars
Peoples sweat wrenched from our pores

In a distant dream our fate is met
Our past mistakes, we will never forget
Once we flourished only to perish
Our corpses a feast for the fish
