Today’s poem about a person leading a double life and lying to his family, was inspired by the 9 random words (in blue) provided by the following people on twitter:

@Rinari (fidelity), @anefallarme (patience), @filigreegirl (invidious), @jollything (Minstrel), @shemah (honorable), @awitchy (whittle), @Catherine1016 (delusion), @purplefrogcat (helicopter), @tonyknuckles (frugal)

Honorless Man

This is not an honorable man,
With a delusion of a master plan

Living frugal to lead a double life,
fidelity in question by his wife

Patience crashes into the ground,
like a helicopter just shot down

Whittle through these invidious lies,
leaving naught but tears and hollow cries

A minstrel would write about this story,
but nothing said would be declared glory

A shameless self who knows no remorse,
destined to continue this winding course
