Today’s poem is about a performer, I was imagining a Juggler who was maybe juggling vials of toxic mercury or some other chemical only to have a mishap. It was inspired by the 10 random words (in blue) provided by the following twitter followers:

In Recovery

It was only faith guiding me now
ardent fear and dread present
a gaudy hospital bed my own

An error in judgment perhaps?
a performer who reached my zenith
just trying to enhance my show

Austere ambidextrous trick gone wrong
chelation my only reward
lying here in recovery
