Lamenting Winter – Random Twitter Poem for Feb 7th

Lamenting Winter is another poem fit for the winter season and was inspired by 10 submissions (in blue) from the following Twitter players today:
@Mikkel_Juhl (through hell and high tide), @m3themes (February), @anklebuster (vine), @Looking4Purpose (miscellaneous), @ZolexPC (stranger), @BasicBlogTips (vacant), @newyorkbigapple (winner), @jlp4u3 (fluke), @AngharadLee (Flamenco), @Piratelover22 (canter)

Lamenting Winter

Another February through hell and high tide
winter fluke, an unwelcome miscellaneous stranger
icy vine of frost strangling a near vacant city
snow flurries canter a flamenco of desolation
people bunker behind fires and warm company
lamenting being the winner of some armaggedon
and waiting for the world to begin thawing
