Did you hallucinate what happened?
some evacuation of sanity and reason
or mental renovations caused by stress
lying naked, vulnerable under the starshine
icy bane cold violating your skin at first
then you felt a warm body riddled with anxiety
a peaceful lovingly warm snuggle, you felt so safe
your only shelter from the night’s caustic resources
was it imagined? It felt so real, so tangible
dream like threnody leaving you hollow
trapped in the premiership of loneliness
with a longing that may never be filled
