Lover’s in a Tree

When I spot two lovers in a tree
It brings fond memories of you and of me
experiences abound that only we can see
watching the evening sun and drinking iced tea

When I spot two lovers in a park
warmly holding hands while the dogs run and bark
a quick kiss erupts fueling a bright new spark
as you finish your story to which I hark

When I spot two lovers in a bed
lying together with the only color being red
fruits of passion, each other being fed
the most tender of moments, enough has been said

When I spot two lovers in a tree
I realize those lovers are you and me.
