Manichean Monks
Mishmash of furious Manichean monks
eponymous rulers of this indigenous nexus
credo of serendipitous peace and harmony
disrupted by an extraordinary calico dragon
seeking a satisfying meal of human haggis
attempts to monetize a friendship failed
depolarization of decisions and morale forgotten
a desperate battle for our survival ensues
hopes and prayers rest with protectors
our holy monks valiant bravery wins the day
monstrous dragon is thwarted and driven away-Poem by Dragon Blogger

Again, you have swirled together a wonderful poem that invokes many fantific visions! If fantific is a word…. if not, it should be! Love the game, love the results!
Always enjoy having you join the poetry game, it is still fun to do after 15 months of doing it.
all right, i’m officially a fan, good work mate !! will be playing again soon ^_^ tc !
Thank you, glad to have you play the game.
It is all at once so comical and visceral. Human haggis — help!! Darn good flow of words! I love how 1000 different bloggers could be given the same 15 random words and come up with 1000 different differenet and interesting poems. Cool!!
The part of a calico dragon makes me chuckle, like he is a prairie girl’s rag doll. They were always making dolls from scraps of their dress material back then.
Fun!

Great poem! I used to think of becoming a monk too, but as your poem pointed out it, there is a great struggle inside the life of a person who secluded himself from the world, only to be confronted by all these dragons, with only his prayers and personal faith could help me survive.

I considered the cloistered life of a monk, away from technology to find and become one with your spirit. But how would I live without technology?
