I wrote this poem for an Associated Content contest hoping to win the ten dollar prize, I don’t do acrostic poetry too often and was intrigued with the challenge. How do you think it turned out? By the way, for those of you who don’t know an acrostic poem is one where the first letter of each line spells out a word or phrase on its own.
Memories
Memories of you
Endlessly floating in my mind
My heart beats frantically
Only love feels this way
Reading your love letters from the past
In my heart tears well
Endless pain there will forever be
Saying Goodbye is just too hard
