I chose the word mutants 'coz I just watched the X-Men Origins: Wolverine today (it premiered today over here!) and I thought it was pretty awesome.. just like your poem!!! :) There were parts of the film that I wish they would pay more attention to, I felt some of the characters were underplayed.. but all in all, I think it's an awesome summer movie.
