My Cancer – Poem by Dragon Blogger

My Cancer
As my heart grows stronger
my decaying body withers
festering disease eating my core
wracking spasms grasp my lungs
life spent in the teachings of pain
I am an unwilling student of denial
an intimate relationship shared
built on mutual hatred and deceit
nobody knows her, for she is mine alone
pray you never met her

Dragon Blogger,
I certainly hope this is a work of pure fiction. If it is, you captured it. If not, my thoughts are with you. Intense.
This is pure fiction, I fortunately do not have cancer. My grandmother died from stomach cancer, and I only write they way I envision it would seem to some.
