I am on a field trip with my son to the Zoo today so I wrote this little poem last night.
The Zoo
Caged I shall dazzle
Enthralled I shall scare
A mighty creature contained
I am the grizzly bearMark my ivory tusks
Open plains where I bunk
My herd my only family
My power in my trunkWisdom with feathered wings
Eyes with such keen sight
Silence with a dark shadow
