Mistakes from the past can be haunting and one can be covered by so many choices that drive them mad or into depression. Learn from the past, don’t dwell and don’t keep repeating. Don’t throw yourself into the flames again.

Plenty of ruin to reflect upon
mistakes flank your every move
afraid to reflect; afraid to breathe
lest you stretch the pain and slip
