Poem: False Hope

A poem written for the Creative Copy Challenge a few weeks back that was about people with good intentions doing wrong, or societies hoping things will change and get better only to see nothing ever changes.

False Hope

Good deeds shall miss their mark

when light and promise fade

in a bag under a sink now lay

understand the cold hour

and those who raise hope

only fool themselves again

things won’t ever change

This poem really makes me feel so sad, the message of it is very clear and i know what it really means for me.
