Poem: Slow Recovery

Slow Recovery

Reenergize reassurance

and rekindle the Zen

coddle faltering emotions

commiserate our misery

Pontificate how to rejuvenate

or prognosticate a return of hope

some recovery on the horizon

yet never coming soon enough
