Today’s poem Promenade Nightlife spins imagery of a public gathering at a courtyard or festive place where everyone from artists, poets and drinkers come to partake in the scene. It was inspired by the 10 random submissions (in blue) provided by the following Twitter players today:
@top10blogthemes (elegant), @CoachNotesBlog (biodiversity), @christianBON (green tea latte), @ptaylor98 (waiting), @starsandsky378 (Waterfall), @Mikkel_Juhl (scooping up the soul of wine), @davelucas (recalcitrant), @TechnicallyEasy (mayday), @birdsnests (juggernaut), @donpower (Radiant)
Promenade Nightlife
Biodiversity of this college nightlife
as elegant green tea latte drinkers
fraternize with recalcitrant poets
A palpably radiant mayday emits softly
juggernaut waterfall begging for an audience
lost among incomprehensible conversations
Connoisseurs waiting for the right moments
scooping up the soul of wine in soft hands
others tune out the rest and into themselves
