Today’s poem was written from 6 random words (in blue) and was a whimsical poem whipped up in a few minutes about some armed anti-hero type who saves people from a creature just because he wanted something to do.

Thank to the following people for providing words today:

@numbnuggets (omphaloskepsis)
@evliving (Imperative)
@R_Arblaster (recalibrated)
@jollything (vagabond)
@santasdevil (shotgun)
@stathamind (stuffed)

Questionable Hero

What appeared to be just a vagabond
In a trance of omphaloskepsis
Saw their need was imperitive
And sprung to action in a flash

At first just a click of the gun
Then the weapon was recalibrated
What appeared to look like a shotgun fired
Scatter shot sprayed through the air

The creature was stuffed full of lead
The monster now injured turned and fled
Nervous laughter cut the silence
As the people started to rally

The man wanted no celebration
Just wanting to return to his contemplation
He saved the people, not for a reward
But merely because he was just bored
