Dreaming An Argument

A controversial discussion leads to a war of words
Many subscribers belong to this war
An argument fed by an insatiable feast of irrationality
You can’t juggle feelings as a bartender juggles vodka bottles
Emotions popping like elliptical bubbles all around us
Better than the murmurous whispers behind ones back
Hyperventilation until face turns purple
Eyelids open face flustered
Was I really holding my breath?
Hands gripping sheets tight fisted
Unclenching you peek beside you
There she sleeps
All is well
Go back to sleep
It was just a dream
