Today’s random poem consisted of 11 random words and some of the words were words I have never used before and had to look up to learn how to use them properly. This is a light hearted poem about a guy dreaming of a girl he sees in a sandwich shop. Thanks to the following 11 people and their words (in blue).
@peteej (Spam), @darksaturn7 (Japan), @BlazingMinds (peach), @SurfCityJay (earnings), @shaboom (indubitably), @KnightDiver (Snow), @azredneck (treat), @AndreaMeyer (stochastic), @merylkevans (exquisite), @wizzardsblog (fizzled), @benjphoto (quidnunc)
Also note, there are only 3 days left to vote for my poetry blog:
If you enjoy my poetry please take a moment to Vote For Wanderer Thoughts I appreciate your support.The Sandwich Girl
There she stands behind a counter dressed in uniform
A princess serving customers and people don’t even noticeA former native of Japan asks for a sliced peach on the side
An indubitably simple request done with such style and graceHow can people treat her like any other girl?
Eating sandwiches tasting barely more palatable than SpamShe means so very much more to me and I stare guiltily
As she counts the store’s earnings at the end of the dayI Dream of a stochastic scenario that could come true
One where her exquisite being would somehow end up with meI feel like a quidnunc trying to learn more about her
Who she is, what she likes, and how to get noticed by herMy daydream suddenly fizzles as she speaks to me
Closing time were the words spoken with no sign of affectionMy face turned pale as white as the snow
My words were frozen in my throat and I could not speakI was just another customer to her
Yet she was so much more to me-Poem by Dragon Blogger
