Reflections From On High – Random Twitter Poem for June 4th

Today’s random twitter poem is from someone who perhaps just climbed a high mountain peak at night and is considering our place in the cosmos, inspired by 6 random words (in blue).
Thanks to the following twitter followers for their word contributions:
@zorlone (edifice), @filigreegirl (collage), @SurfCityJay (mentality), @ebb567 (orbit), @RemBeatZ (postage), @shemah (rambunctious)Reflections From On High
From a top this edifice
from which no postage could reach
you star at the rambunctious heavens
seeing the collage of stars like a map
and the sister moon, in high orbit
around this vast landscape around you
only one mentality could hold sway
how we are all but tiny ants
in this one living universe-Poem by Dragon Blogger

Would be thinking about this after such a feat in climbing a mountain as high as the Everest.

I like the description of being on top and realizing the vastness of the universe compared to the speck of humanity that the author is.

Thank you, it is one of my common themes for poetry in how we are all just specks in the universe.
