Shine The Light
Shine the light through nightmarish clouds
Clean us from this acid rain
We look for love among haters
We look for life among the dead
Shine the light in this dark tunnel
Faith is only as strong as you are
We look for beauty in this ugly world
We look for peace when there is only war
Shine the light in the pits of hell
Forge your own morality from empathy
We look for a god that may not exist
We look for a solution from problems we create

Thank you, it isn’t always easy to come up with a new poem every day, but some days I can come up with 2 or 3 and I queue them for the days I come up short.
Very good. this would pair nicely with one of Dore’s illustrations from Paradise Lost.
