Spiritual Ritual – Random Twitter Poem for May 26th
Spiritual Ritual tells a picture of someone trying to calm and repair their twisted soul. This poem about soul healing was inspired by imagining some ancient rituals and by the 12 random submissions (in blue) from the following people on Twitter:
@Quillville (verbose), @delomos (ego), @traceimages (Swahili), @ptaylor98 (breathless), @listed_property (Quasimodo), @Piratelover22 (daft), @WorkingLori (simplify), @Williamm49 (degrade), @writingnag (healing), @filigreegirl (obliquity), @Mikkel_Juhl (Seraphic pipes), @AttilaBS (ichor)
Spiritual Ritual
Mystic tongues echo softly
like a verbose Swahili incantation
full of a breathless healing ego
Seraphic pipes an acoustic partner
audible ichor soothing the soul
rectifying daft obliquity
An attempt to simplify existence and form
degrade and weaken the Quasimodo within
a spiritual ritual being performed
