Today marked my 100th random twitter poem and I have been doing this game where I take random words provided from people on twitter and craft a poem including the random words since October 2008. I have between ten and fifteen people play everyday and some are new and some are repeat followers who just want to see what I craft next. Thanks to the following people for providing the 13 random words (in blue) for today’s poem. I wanted to write a motivational and positive poem to mark the celebration.

Stand Up And Lead

Some may declare you insolent
But follow not what others think
You deserve special credit
Filled with an energy above the rest
Honor bound and full of integrity
Longing for a greatness
That stems from a proud heritage
Not afraid to sweat
Not afraid to bleed
To uphold your values
Making the world a better place
Plans are set in motion
One day the celebration will come
When negativity is trapped in a vault
Peace and sincerity reign supreme
All it takes is focus and discipline
In you, in me
In each and every one of us
One person changes the world
If they just stand up and lead
