Angry Mob

Hatred burns like a raging inferno
Anger begets more violence as the mob turns
from one victim to the next with no logic
I can do nothing but get lost myself
flowing with the tides of rage
as glass breaks from broken bottles
protest turned riot breeds insanity
and the fires of unstable minds keep burning
and I can do nothing but partake
for I light my candle from their torches
and their fuel keeps my fires burning hot

Catatonic rage
buried deep in my chest
I only wait to hurt
I only wait for pain
Seething calm before
A swelling storm
An eye without vision
My misery reflected
Sleeps deep inside
Heart quakes in fear
Spirit shakes in agony
So it sleeps deep within
As I wait to release
This catatonic rage

I am a very open minded and free person, I dislike hatred and intolerance of any kind.Â People are all people and humans are creative and artistic, I can’t understand why there is so much hatred and intolerance in the world to people who are “different”.Â This poem is filled with hatred, anger, ignorance and is what I think of when I see all the hate crimes that are committed in the world against people who are different.Â Especially crimes against the gay and lesbian community.Â This poem was crafted from the following 11 random words (in blue) provided by the following twitter members:

Did you just wink at me?
Like I am some delicious piece of meat
You sick twisted bastard
Freak of nature
You think its okay
To modify your lifestyle
