Walked Away is a poem about a man fancying a girl and struggling to build up the courage to talk to her, missing his chance. It was inspired by the 21 random words (in blue) provided by the following twitter followers:
@viktorwalters (incumbent), @qutequte (drugged), @blusol (frantically), @manitisle (happiness), @purple_froggy (frozen), @filigreegirl (entanglement), @dscherer (expectations), @shemah (kimono), @smmode (scoundrel), @HarleyQuinnAA (carnival), @johnjriewe (amorphous), @Zorlone (regret), @WorldClassPoet (Galapagos), @ambassador1O1 (quadrangle), @barbehr (scam, authentic), @AnamarieSeidel (Delicious), @amds007 (Husky), @Piratelover22 (intrinsic), @conradtheart (liaison), @mcaliban (regard)

Walked Away

Frozen as if in a drugged entanglement
an enchanting beauty wearing a kimono
rare and exotic creature just standing there
your regard transfixed staring hopelessly
as if she were from a Galapagos island

Blushing, feeling like an authentic scoundrel
delicious kissing and husky voices at night
an intrinsic liaison formed by thoughts
amorphous carnival happiness welling inside
heart filling with impossible expectations

Internal scam brewing, decisions unresolved
frantically you start to realize too late
she leaves almost as quickly as she arrived
hastily walking through the courtyard quadrangle
as you are left with nothing but incumbent regret
