Ever wonder what dogs do all day long while their masters are hard at work?   This poem is dedicated to a dogs daydream and how their little games lead to feasting on their master’s supper. Thanks to the following twitter followers for providing the 13 random words (in blue) today:

@shemah (imaginary), @SpaceAgeSage (karate), @KathrynVercillo (insouciant), @heatherpro (linguini), @RemBeatZ (Poodle), @jeremylewit (clamor), @santasdevil (jealousy), @RustlersRooste (spurs), @imjstsayin (salamander), @numbnuggets (noodle), @JenaIsle (hyperlipoproteinemia), @johnjriewe (amalgamated), @supertroll (Positive)

Doggy Day Dream

An evil salamander
decked out with sharp spurs
jealousy seething from its eyes

One insouciant karate poodle
who vanquished a thousand imaginary foes
that came before this pompous positive lizard

The clamor of their battle heard
as the dog defends his pride
suddenly, the crash of a plate

Linguini and ceramic shards amalgamated
as the pup realizes quickly
that the game is up

Yet he still scarfs down
one noodle after another
hyperlipoproteinemia setting in
