Arsonist visions in a world on water
decisions charred like a used up match
pleasant formalities greedily exchanged
somewhere hostility meets tolerance
and the world assumes all is right
only to be filled with lies and illusions

Scattered flames in angered embers
smoke thickening into a noxious plume
fire gods speak their mantra’s
in the crackles and whispers
of rising and falling flameFury of ashes flying about
finding purchase in the sky
