Manichean Monks
Mishmash of furious Manichean monks
eponymous rulers of this indigenous nexus
credo of serendipitous peace and harmony
disrupted by an extraordinary calico dragon
seeking a satisfying meal of human haggis
attempts to monetize a friendship failed
depolarization of decisions and morale forgotten
a desperate battle for our survival ensues
hopes and prayers rest with protectors
our holy monks valiant bravery wins the day
monstrous dragon is thwarted and driven away-Poem by Dragon Blogger

Rescue From The Witch
Feel the sun burn the night
A startled bird fixed in flight
Angry goblins within the woods
Hidden hunters in dark grey hoodsA girl is lost in a witches cave
Sentenced to be a broken slave
Hunters seek to restore her life
One still seeks her as his wifeBut the goblin queen is well prepared
A wealth of traps, the hunters snared
A knife flashes in the dark
The hollow cries of a larkOne sole hunter cuts free
Faced with death, he does not flee
The hag descends and her fury dreaded
The hunter slashes, the witch beheadedThe young girl found, a shining pearl
He picks her up and spins a whirl
A thousand hugs and kisses found
As he carries her away without a sound-Poem by Dragon Blogger

The Banshee Howls
The Banshee Howls
My ear drum splits
My mind goes blank
My eyes roll up
My body tumblesThe Banshee Howls
Army’s crumble
Voice of death causes death
Resistance is never met
Skeletons litter the grasslandsThe Banshee Howls
Aching lady of pain
Death by savage hands
Forever to haunt desecrated grounds
Painful death to those she meetsThe Banshee Howls
All she wants is to be set free
Cursed in this eternal misery
Screaming loud and endlessly
Has no ability to show mercyThe Banshee Howls
My ear drum splits
My mind goes blank
My eyes roll up
My body tumbles
My world goes black-Poem by Dragon Blogger

The aged woman knew her time drew near
Reflecting on the past, invoking a tear
Ninety decades of life upon this earth
She had once created life by giving birthShe had seen love come and love go
Like icebergs on a cold river flow
Seeing friends and family as well
Her memories are her stories to tellDwindling health for these past few days
A fever set in leaving her in a foggy daze
Wearing undergarments and moleskin on top
Laying on the bed using pillows as a propShe lay there hands folded and fingers intertwined
Peace and salvation she was hoping to find
You could not have called her a fussbudget in life
She caused nobody harm and never caused strifeAs she weakened and her death seemed so certain
She moved to the window and drew back the curtain
Amazed what she saw her wishes had come true
A new pond sat in the yard, its water so blueHer intentions were clear and she knew her direction
Her children protested and voiced their rejection
Her superfluous intention just was not in the norm
She shuffled past her family and out in the stormSomething fierce drove her faster toward the water
One final shout and protest erupted from her daughter
She waded in, incorporating her body with the pool
Her family astounded and thinking her a foolMagic then happened as her body filled with vitality
What could not be possible was indeed a reality
She started to rejuvenate in front of their eyes
The family stunned at this wonderful supriseHer wrinkles had vanished, color returned to her face
Breathing so deeply she held her arms out to embrace
Her family rushed forward to her all getting wet
This miracle that occured no one would ever forgetThe woman who was over ninety looked twenty again
Her illness and body healed, including her brain
It is as if a wizard had waved a magical wand
All of this from bathing in that enchanted pond-Poem by Dragon Blogger
