In celebration of returning from my Disney Cruise this morning I used today’s random words to inspire this one. Thanks to the following twitter followers for the 8 words provided today (in blue):
@blusol (acrimonious), @filigreegirl (interlocutor), @santasdevil (exertion), @concisionflux (commixture), @billnega (leech), @SurfCityJay (vacation), @KathrynVercillo (seasonal), @daNanner (manic)Survived Vacation
Surviving a manic seasonal vacation
exertion demanded by offspring
like blood drawn by a leechSuffering the endless questions
by a child like interlocutor
a long journey ends in harmonyAcrimonious truth found while away
commixture of family vacation and relaxation
are as impossible to merge as oil and vinegar-Poem by Dragon Blogger

Okay everyone, here is the latest poem from my routine Tweet contests where I have people on twitter aka. Tweeple randomly cast out words for me to include in a poem I craft including those words. I usually run this contest on my lunch break every day on twitter.
Here is today’s Poem all words that were tweeted are highlighted in blue.
The Taste Of A Hamburger
I hope and pray lunch comes early today
My hunger stirs within my gut
A flavor so rich and intense
yet it allegedly causes harmCan a food be your soulmate?
I find myself wondering
as this craving is not of this world
I bid mahalo to the manufactured creation I was about to enjoyMy tastebuds soar like an eagle through the clouds
as I sink my teeth through the soft white bun
surely my cholesterol could not rise to near infinity
from eating such a dangerous yet tasty morselI absconded the place as soon as I ate
shamed that I enjoyed such a sinful pleasure
all of these feelings and all of this guilt
just from partaking in a succulent cheeseburger-Poem by Dragon Blogger
I would like to thank the following tweeple for helping me with random words today: @RobinJP, @Coyotesqrl, @carlsjr, @nicolebandes, @azredneck, @AZH2O, @Tylermoss, @elliotpappas, @Raillife
