Today I was hard pressed to come up with a random twitter poem by the end of the day, for some reason the Coulrophobic and fear of clowns thing made me think of Killer Clowns from Outer Space movie, then it made me think of Stephen King’s IT, and I guess that is why this poem turned into a horrific one about creatures devouring some people. Horror Show

Nothing but horror exists at this party
People quivering as if in coulrophobic fear
Discombobulated men and women screaming
Who would the creatures viscerate next?

A woman cried out, the penultimate victim
Her mastication was eminent
These hungry creatures ravaged a dozen already
Their bloated exterior stomachs swollen

No one would envy their fate
These creatures assign people as meals
The last victim lies weeping now
A pool of blood and urine at his feet

Monsters with no remorse descend
His last screams fell on deaf ears
His last memories of being eaten
His last feeling was fanged teeth

In A Dream

I met you in a dream once
Where we pranced with fairies
On a rainy yet sunlit morning
Not a drop of frustration in our hearts
Fruit to fill a supermarket growing around us
Just the two of us
Recessed from the world together
Later that night
As our bodies relax under the starlight
A birthday wish is just a moment away
One that we shouldn’t rush
And should savor like fine wine
The threat of innocence about do be undone
Our fruit never tasted so sweet
Our chances were fated to meet
At this intersection between reality
At least this once

The Blue God

In a small fishing village off of the Kona port
People eating their breakfast and engaged in morning palaver
A giant man rises from the ocean depths radiating light
Skin so blue one may think it was caused by uranium exposure
Looking like a special effect pulled from a Hollywood film
Jade colored tattoo of an atomic symbol on his chest

The sight would give almost anyone an aneurism
The obmudsman arrives on the scene from being flooded with calls
The being takes a step toward the beach
Foot sinking and rising in the sands
leaving a gap a half dozen feet deep

With startling dexterity the giant moves his arm
Snatching a pelican out of the sky
Expecting him to crush the bird
He instead studies it and sets it free
It is then that the great man speaks

“People of the surface world” his voice rumbles deep
“Our seas are poisoned by your arrogance” he continues
“Anger us further and there will be no recourse”
“You will not receive a second warning”
His final words were spoken

As swiftly as he arrived he quickly departs
Stepping back into the waters of the deep
People stunned in total silence
Soon world officials will converse
Time to change the world

The Druid Is Found

Rumors exist of a man, the last of his kind
A man of nature who is at war with technology
One who would never set foot in a factory
Nobody knows which path or direction he takes
But he is seen and known by those who travel his lands
Like a mystic shaman harnessing old and antiquated magic
Animals and plants seem to obey and protect him
From the mighty bear who guards his home
To the chipmunk who acts as his spy
He sits on a fallen log consuming some cereal
A screech of a hawk warns him of danger
Somehow he was found and tracked
Chunky overweight men trying to capture him
His robes whipping around him, he flees
Leaving not a single set of tracks
Evading his pursuers this day
He sets to study his next course of action
A byzantine ritual performed in the moonlight
A future glimpsed and his spirits sour
He would be caught within a few days
We would need to schedule a plan
Someone to take his place
A man with his heart in the woods
But who would he find?
