21 Jan 2010
Rampage is a poem about someone who goes off on a mass murdering spree, somewhat inspired by the crop of school shootings that have hit the news in recent years. Poem inspired by the 14 random words (in blue) provided by the following twitter followers:
@KathrynVercillo (pity), @anefallarme (rage), @Kiss_n_Atl (understanding), @anahbird (freezing), @filigreegirl (vertiginous), @AttilaBS (mandamus), @blusol (catalyst), @JeffHicks (warranty), @HarleyQuinnAA (escalator), @houseofpuroy (unrequited), @fvongraf (clown), @buddawiggi (guidelines), @Jhotvedt2 (seclusion), @Woozlehound (verdant)Rampage
Life spent in dour beaten seclusion
ignorant lack of understanding
and freezing unrequited pity
catalyst for my bitter volatile rage
on an escalator to insanity with no escape
a clown performing its final act
no warranty to protect you now
I follow no guidelines or mandamus
vertiginous confusion spreads like fire
blood spills on this verdant campus
as I start a murderous nightmare rampage-Poem by Dragon Blogger

Final Plea – Random Twitter Poem for Jan 12th

12 Jan 2010
The poem Final Plea depicts a killer in remorse, drinking tequila to wash away his guilt before he either takes his own life or maybe is on death row about to be silenced by lethal injection. This poem was inspired by the 15 random words provided (in blue) by the following twitter followers:
@drdon911 (anaphylaxis), @Chrissyisms (eclosion), @Oneunder2001 (humble), @KathrynVercillo (punctilious), @SurfCityJay (external), @filigreegirl (puzzlement), @RemBeatZ (Tequila), @delomos (quo), @hammyhavoc (concupiscent), @jmbuckingham (Nourishing), @AttilaBS (Casting), @dreamon51 (angioplasty), @Ileane (Volunteering), @TrinaMb (guilty), @HarleyQuinnAA (Prison)Final Plea
Potent tequila nourishing guilty feelings
throat seizing as if undergoing anaphylaxis
some vulgar witch casting a damnation curse
a single concupiscent evening gone horribly awry
murder bursting forth unrestrained like an eclosion
just another puzzlement in this jagged humble prison
where mind and heart are torn by punctilious pain
no emotional angioplasty found to fix the damage
external consequences, unending bitter reminders
volunteering for an end to this status quo
a plea that ends with a merciful injection-Poem by Dragon Blogger

21 Aug 2009
Vagabond Murder is a poem about a poor homeless man savagely murdered one dark evening. Today’s random twitter poem was inspired by the 15 words (in blue) provided by the following twitter followers:
@planetjefferson (chum), @jmbuckingham (woeful), @daNanner (exhausted), @wizzardsblog (quagmire), @concisionflux (breathlessness), @johnjriewe (munificent), @the_watchmaker (murder), @amysav83 (random), @jamiain (drunk), @PatRowe (pathetic), @dreamon51 (lavaliere), @wishinghearts (antioxidant), @filigreegirl (quamash), @amysav83 (welcomes), @zorlone (photo finish)
Vagabond Murder
An exhausted, woeful, pathetic drunk
alone in the night, without a chuma lavalier dangling around his neck
his personal antioxidant against spiritsFoul odor like decayed quamash fills the air
as a random dark stranger approaches the manMunificent murder, his apparent gift tonight
an air of breathlessness overtakes the vagabondThis quagmire, something he could not have predicted
death swoops in on silent shadows; and welcomes himBarely a struggle, no photo finish needed at all
As the beggar’s life ends in dark deep red-Poem by Dragon Blogger

Death of Beauty – Random Twitter Poem for June 18th
- twitter poems
-
18 Jun 2009
Today’s random twitter poem is kind of like the horrific aftermath of a serial killer turned loose, it is inspired by the remains of an artistic killer and was partly inspired by Mr. Brooks the Kevin Costner film (which was very good). Thanks to my twitter followers for providing the 16 random words (in blue) today:
@theotherbed (frisson), @Esther_Silvera (beauty), @jollything (macabre), @coffeetablepoet (destiny), @Zorlone (Zephyr), @KathrynVercillo (ingenuity), @rjleaman (heat), @santasdevil (misplaced), @SusanBerland (integrity), @lejonprime (ignorant), @Robinznest (dust), @stnmoon (upset), @teambudd1 (luscious), @purplefrogcat (rain), @ElyssaD (random), @filigreegirl (luckily)
Death of Beauty
Random act wrapped in ignorant luscious frisson
a kind of sick, twisted macabre beauty
integrity lost through blood and fear
horrific result of misplaced ingenuity
body heat long departed by the winds zephyr
was it her destiny to lie here rotting
another upset in the balance of time
questions only asked by the dust
and luckily answered by the falling rain-Poem by Dragon Blogger
