Transfigured is a poem about somebody serving or making a deal with a powerful entity only to be betrayed and transfigured as punishment. A poem inspired by the 15 random words (in blue) provided by the following twitter followers:
@SusanBerland (ultimatum), @rMiLaNa (charm), @Robbie42601 (righteous), @houseofpuroy (betrayed), @anahbird (surreal), @simetra7 (Intimate), @stevejclark (jejunum), @amy4669 (thunking), @filigreegirl (nebula), @AttilaBS (leviathan), @davidfunk74 (champion), @ptaylor98 (transformation), @blusol (contrived), @Hazel8500 (prevaricate), @anefallarme (distractions)Transfigured
Betrayed by the righteous leviathan
failed ultimatum gives way to penalty
false champion of wicked intimate charm
immune to your prevaricate distractions
thunking contrived transformation takes place
prismatic nebula surrounding his body
organs transfigured from brain to jejunum
surreal magic leaving you disfigured
another twisted puppet in his empire-Poem by Dragon Blogger

Will You Be There If I Fall?

Will You Be There If I Fall?
I have held it together for this long
but how much longer can I stand
Life pummels you and leaves you no room
to stand on your own two legsI cannot fall if I am to be a man
Life cannot beat me back
But in case I need the support
Will you be there if I fall?I have loved more than anyone ever could
I have lost more than anyone could ever count
I have learned more than a sage’s lifetime
I have discarded all of this for these pursuitsDespite the harsh times we have endured
I have held my head up high
but my time has come I come close to breaking
Will you be there if I fall?Countless times I have held your hand
Wiping away those endless tears
I bathed you in my compassion and support
I may need you now my dearLife has thrown a curve ball laced with razors
I tried to catch and it cut me deep
I am collapsing under these wounds
Will you be there if I fall?-Poem by Dragon Blogger
