Sunshine
- Dark Poems

I asked for a random topic on Twitter, somebody said shine, and it brought out sunshine. I was playing Fallout 3 last night, and somehow this poem wound up erupting from me. This is kind of like a mix of shine and fallout 3 into a poem. Let me know what you think.
Sunshine
A light shines through a broken window
A small plant clings to life in the dirt
A broken building filled with broken dreams
Lifeless objects clinging to dustThis ray of sunshine is all life needs
A small plant can find nourishment
Grass grows in an empty field
Green so vibrant it grasps ones soulWhere have all the people gone
On this haughty cloudless day
You ask yourself but already know
The answer lies in mans own fateIn finding peace man found only hate
All it took was one mistake
Life ended with but a single word
It had to be caused by nuclearSo where is mankind did any survive
Sunshine shows us what is left
Plants regrow and thrive on light
The rest of the world is bathed in night-Poem by Dragon Blogger
