The Spoon
Whether icy cold or blisteringly hot
You are plunged into clear or murky depths
You are spun wildly your gleaming leg above the surface
Slowly tapered you drink and come afloat
Holding what you have tasted, you are summoned to me
Your prize then is siphoned, and you are cast again
Reeling in the liquid time and time again
Until satiation is reached, then you are released
Only to be called again.

The Fork
How the light gleams off that metal skin,
Your sharp tips ready to dive into flesh,
Even as you taste the meat you’re moving,
Slowly and steadily pulling your victim to me,
You are under my control your victim taken,
And as I feast upon what you have staked,
You are forced to seek another morsel,
This pattern repeats, for you time is endless.
But once I am done you are cast away,
Ready to be used another day.

Utopian Future

In the far reaches of time and space
A utopia exists, a very special place
Timeless people in an ageless location
Peace and tranquility in one great nation

Very warm and very welcoming
A place to start a new beginning
Hopes and dreams actually come true
This place I seem when I dream of you

All things don’t have to be so complex
This place is a blessing and not a hex
Let you heart and mind go free
This world at large you will see

Good and kindness exist at no cost
The future hope for mankind is not lost
Belief and action are all it will take
We need to change all of our lives are at stake

At about midnight on Friday morning, I asked someone to toss me out a poem theme, and @Zorlone responded with some words like “Titan, hammer, elves..etc” This inspired this short poem which was written in the wee hours of the morning.

The Might of a Titan

Wielding a mighty hammer
protector of a goddess

Beauty to rival Venus herself
the army of dark elves covet her

Standing strong against the horde
love and passion banish fear

One by one the foes begin to fall
under the might of a titan
