Political Trust is a poem about the cut throat savage nature of politicians (at least the stereotype). It speaks of the two faced nature of publicly being friendly only to savagely steal someones chair or seat. Inspired by the 12 random words provided by the following twitter followers:
@yellow0211 (trust), @urbancrafter (calumny), @Jan_Geronimo (disembowel), @blusol (progressive), @LilPecan (ancillary), @Sarah_Bush (effervescent), @cupcakes5 (pleasantries), @buddawiggi (mahalo), @purple_froggy (postal), @Heerlijktaartje (stardust), @elizasea (maudlin), @barbehr (incredulous)[powerpress image="http://www.wandererthoughts.com/images/wandererthoughts300.jpg"]
Political Trust
Effervescent incredulous stardust pleasantries
hiding behind vicious verbal calumny
intention to politically disembowel
ancillary maudlin speakers fall prey
as progressive agendas rise and fall
postal greetings sent by the unfriendly
seats dry without the slightest mahalo
there is no trust with politicians-Poem by Dragon Blogger

Miraculous Machine – Random Twitter Poem for August 6th
- twitter poems

06 Aug 2009
Today’s poem took a bit longer with all the twitter denial of service attacks, and had lower submissions than usual as a result. It is a poem about an article I once read about how if we could purify all drinking water in third world countries, more than 60% of third world diseases like Cholera and such would be eradicated. Today’s poem inspired by the 9 words provided by the following twitter followers:
@superwoman579 (super), @planetjefferson (obviate), @CoffeeTablePoet (miraculous), @JenaIsle (convoluted tubules), @ryjr (influential), @R_Arblaster (hackers), @WebBetty (panache), @Owl311 (attack), @solitarypanda (belligerent)
Miraculous Machine
A super miraculous machine
can purify water efficiently
filtering impurities naturally
like a kidney’s convoluted tubulesIt will obviate a belligerent attack
from any virus or bacterial agentA machine influential in world health
as clean water can now flow freelyWith a grand panache of celebration
Countries tout their unanimous supportEnvironmental hackers spread the word
As the face of change now begins.-Poem by Dragon Blogger

Shine The Light
Shine the light through nightmarish clouds
Clean us from this acid rain
We look for love among haters
We look for life among the deadShine the light in this dark tunnel
Faith is only as strong as you are
We look for beauty in this ugly world
We look for peace when there is only warShine the light in the pits of hell
Forge your own morality from empathy
We look for a god that may not exist
We look for a solution from problems we createPoem by Dragon Blogger
