School Transportation is a poem that is inspired by the news stories of bullies and beatings that occur on school buses. I must admit I had my own fair share of memories to draw from in creating this poem today. Poem inspired by the 13 random words provided (in blue) by the following twitter followers:
@SnarkRemarks (ameliorate), @Piratelover22 (coy), @rockalong (toil), @KathrynVercillo (flapper), @R_Arblaster (disjointed), @anefallarme (differentiation), @saurabhgolu91 (friends), @TrinaMb (obnoxious), @JoeManna (Vitriol), @JeffHicks (serenity), @rikardkjellberg (ponder), @RemBeatZ (transportation), @filigreegirl (abeyance)

School Transportation

No serenity found in public transportation
traveling to school a disjointed dangerous toil
mean spirited, obnoxious coy vitriol taunting ensues
chastised for fashion choice as if you were a flapper
differentiation between friends and foes a blur
you quickly ponder a way to ameliorate the situation
as a desperate attempt for abeyance, you flag the driver
however, ignored and unnoticed you find yourself helpless
just another days struggle that repeats time and again
on the way to place that is supposed to foster learning
